LOCATION: Ozanam Campus
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Lead Nutritional Health Specialist position is responsible in cooperation with other kitchen staff for meal and snack preparation and maintaining the kitchen.  The primary job duties of this position include food order check-ins as well as assisting with storage and inventory of food. The Lead Nutritional Health Specialist creates and submits food orders with approval from the Food Service Manager as well as assists the Manager in communicating dietary needs of clients to staff. This position is responsible for performing record keeping by reporting an accurate daily count of clients receiving meals.  The Lead Nutritional Health Specialist coaches, mentors, and assists in training new employees in kitchen policies and procedures.  Other key duties include overseeing the needs and activities of the kitchen in the absence and direction of the Manager Food Service.  The Lead Nutritional Health Specialist may be required to work in kitchens at any campus location as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS: This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent.  One (1) to three (3) years of experience is required.  Must pass background check, physical and drug screening.  A valid driver’s license and proof of current vehicle insurance is required however driving is not an essential duty of this position.
SALARY: $15.00 - $17.24 per hour
(Starting salary depends on education and experience)
