Cornerstones of Care has recently received Foster Care contracts in the state of Kansas and we are excited to fill these new job opportunities.
LOCATION: Kansas City, KS (3 open positions)
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Manager, Permanency Services works under the Director of Permanency Services and is responsible for the supervision of Adoption Specialists, Independent Living Specialists, Wendy’s Wonderful Kids recruiters, Aftercare and service compliance with the Kansas Foster Care grant through the Department for Children & Families (DCF). Responsibilities include accepting cases from Reintegration team Managers and assigning to appropriate staff, within policy & procedure. This position attends Case Plan and engagement meetings with staff as well as court hearings. The Manager, Permanency Services serves as on-going liaison between Cornerstones of Care and funding sources, maintaining adequate communication channels at all times to ensure that services remain flexible and creative in response to community needs. This position monitors outcomes and conduct utilization reviews, implements strategies to improve outcomes within the team as needed and proves their team with professional development opportunities. This role ensures through supervision and monitoring, that each staff member maintains up-to-date records in the Cornerstones of Care and DCF management information systems for each child within established standards. The Manager of Permanency Services must be accessible by phone after hours, holidays and weekends, when assigned as the on call supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or other Human service related field and relevant work experience with children and families. Must be licensed by the Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board to practice in Kansas. The preferred candidate will have a Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field. Must pass background check, physical and drug screening. This position also requires a valid driver’s license and proof of current vehicle insurance.
PAY GRADE: 6
SALARY: $37,731.44 - $58,483.73 annually
(Starting salary depends on education and experience)
