LOCATION: Cass & Johnson County, Missouri
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Therapist I position provides professional therapy services, including individual, group, and family in addition to crisis management as needed.  This position works as part of a treatment team for the client.   Diagnoses client’s problems by collecting and evaluating information about the client’s situation.  Develops treatment plan by establishing treatment goals with the client, determining treatment methodologies.  Advises client by suggesting and exploring resolutions and discussing progress toward goals.  Obtains services by initiating referrals.  Monitors progress toward treatment goals by evaluating and adjusting services provided.  The Therapist I position assures quality service for clients by enforcing rules, regulations and legal requirements with clients, documenting events of the therapeutic process in a confidential manner.  Maintains agency credibility by establishing working relationships with sponsoring, advisory, and related service agencies.  Promotes the agency by ensuring an understanding of program services available for clients, publicizing activities and accomplishments and adhering to a professional code of ethics.  Maintains professional and technical knowledge by participating in workshops, reviewing professional publications and establishing personal networks.  Provides a clinical experience for interns by negotiating learning objectives, supervising practice and caseload management, teaching theory and its application, evaluating skills and personal and professional growth and ensuring identification with the profession.  Contributes to team effort by consulting with other professionals, accomplishing related results as needed.  This is an in-home therapy position and will be working in both Cass and Johnson County.
QUALIFICATIONS: The Therapist I position requires a Master’s degree and professional licensure (e.g. LMSW, PLPC).  One (1) to three (3) years of experience is required.    The Therapist II position requires a Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling or Psychology.  Clinical licensure in Missouri or dually licensed (LCSW, LSCSW, LPC, LCPC) is required in addition to three (3) to five (5) years of experience post clinical licensure. Must pass background check, physical and drug screening.  This position also requires a valid driver’s license and proof of current vehicle insurance. 
PAY GRADE: 5 / 6
SALARY: $38,000.00 - $40,000.00 annually / $40,000.00 - $43,000.00 annually
(Starting salary depends on education and experience)
