  • Overview

    Oversight of the Logistics group and of the S&OP (Sales & Operation Planning) process for the Residential group. Develop strategies to achieve company objectives to drive cost improvements and a positive customer experience by driving supply chain to the level of a core competency.


    1. Implement and manage the centralized S&OP process for the Residential group.
    2. Responsible for the overall WIP & Finished Goods inventory for the Residential group including development and management of the long-range manufacturing plan.
    3. Overall responsibility for the logistics strategy of the Residential group including network analysis, freight negotiations, DC management and carrier development.
    4. Performs other duties as assigned.
    5. Measure and report on key performance indicators for assigned areas.
    6. Work closely with purchasing management to ensure adequate supply of raw materials and components to execute the schedule.
    7. Responsible for the On-time delivery management and freight budgets of the group.
    8. Identify and plan the resource requirements to enable lowest cost and optimal utilization of assets.



    Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Accounting with an MBA strongly preferred. APICS certification and Project Management certification strongly preferred.


    Fifteen plus years of managing logistics and planning for large complex organizations.


    Thorough knowledge of personal computers, experience in MS Office, Word, Excel and Access, working knowledge and experience in various ERP platforms. The ability to coordinate across functions and organizations, and analyze financial data relating to operating efficiencies, inventory levels and budgeting. Needs to possess the ability to resolve supplier, logistics, and system problems to prevent operational delays and understand and interpret internal and external products/process related issues.


    Position requires occasional travel (20%).

    Standard office environment with occasional lifting.
