Supervise, train, assists and monitor employees in the operation of inpatient and outpatient admissions, bed control and financial counseling functions. Assists in evaluating the performance of staff members. Assists the Director in analyzing, evaluating and developing procedures in Bed Control, financial counseling and census statistics.

Required Skills
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent written and oral communication, computer and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to train and mentor and counsel employees
  • Ability to prepare presentation and document work and employee issues
  • Through knowledge of medical terminology. Automated admissions and third party payor regulations and requirements
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products

    Preferred Requirements

  • Two years of college in public administration, health care administration or a related field
  • Two years of work experience in admitting or a related hospital or health service agency
