What You'll Do
In this role, the candidate will provide the unparalleled client experience to build and enhance long-term customer relationships through exceptional client service, anticipation of client needs, and thoughtful and thorough communication with the client in face to face and phone communication.

- Build long term client relationships through quality customer service, anticipating client needs, communications, client meetings and meeting client service level standards.
- Responsible for all aspects of account administration according to the directives in the account agreement, applicable laws, and UMB policies and procedures, with the primary focus on IRA administration.
- Guide clients through conversations on how to effectively utilize their IRA both from an individual needs basis and an income tax standpoint per IRS regulations
- Be a trusted resource to other teammates as it pertains to IRA administration
- Work with team members to deepen client relationships within assigned book of accounts resulting in expansion of current relationship, referrals to other lines of business within the bank, and referrals from the client for new business
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements regarding administration of assigned accounts
- Develop relationships with internal and external centers of influence and participate in business development activities with those centers of influence.
- When administering accounts without an assigned Portfolio Manager, the IRA Advisor will provide investment management services for clients, ie: Assess the appropriate risk level for the client through inquiry and active listening and also properly document the establishment of the Investment Policy Statement
