As a Site SHE supervisor, your role will be to influence significant sustainable improvement in safety and environmental performance by building a knowledgeable and engaged team.
Who You Are& What You’ll Do
The Site SHE supervisor supports manufacturing and non-manufacturing activities to improve overall, SHE performance. They work with the site Supply Chain teams to develop SHE improvement plans in alignment with global and cluster SHE strategy to achieve sustainable SHE excellence by reducing injuries, illnesses, and environmental impact as measured in the Core KPI’s.
Drivesafety and environment risk assessment and develop/implement appropriatecontrols.
Reduceenvironmental impact in the areas of COD, hazardous and non-hazardous waste, SOx&CO2 emissions and water and energy consumption.
SupportWCM implementation by leading the Safety and Environmental pillar activities.
Developan understanding of Unilever Safety and Environmental program and supportdeployment in all areas of the site.
Developa thorough understanding of the Unilever PSM program and support deployment andapplication of Unilever guidelines.
Monitorlegal compliance and ensure the site meets all local/national regulatoryrequirements and Unilever standards.
Influencesenior management and drive safety and environmental leadership through linemanagement.
Workclosely with Occupational Health personnel to identify and mitigate risks whichmay lead to occupational ill health.
Conducttrend analysis from incidents, near misses, safe behavior observations and deepcompliance audits.
Determinetraining needs and assist in delivery of training programs.

What You’ll Need to Succeed
Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Engineering or Safetyand Health
Excellent knowledge of OSHA, EPA, SHE standards essential
Good knowledge of Manufacturing and Process Safety
Good observation and auditing skills.
Proven track record of influencing individuals and teams.
Proven track record of analytical thinking and projectmanagement.
2-5 years of SHE experiences preferred.
